Hilary Cano

A Pacific Northwest resident for over 30 years, Hilary Cano is passionate about our regional culture and cuisine.

A 2005 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America- Hyde Park, Ms. Cano returned home to the Rogue Valley where she strives to bring a love of food and cooking to all she does.

Ms. Cano spent ten years as the General Manager of The Schoolhaus Brewhaus in Jacksonville overseeing the properties restaurant, event center and many other offered amenities.

A particular passion of hers has always been cooking education with the belief that a strong foundation in cooking skills and nourishment is a key component to a strong and healthy community. Ms. Cano spent many years with ACCESS as a Cooking Skills Educator, a community outreach program to educate and inspire an appreciation for fresh, local and nutritious cooking. She also spent two separate seasons as the assistant chef to Chef Sandy Dowling for The Willows Cooking School in Central Point.
